VIBROFLOTATION METHOD

Vibroflotation refers to the process of vibration through a cylindrical vibrator in saturated soil with pressing a cylindrical vibrator which is fixed with an eccentric iron into soil and jetting pressure water into soil. It forces the saturated sand become liquefied under the vibration strength; rearrange and become more denser. The improvement can increase bearing capacity of soil, reduction of both total and differential settlements and reduce the risk of liquefaction in an earthquake prone areas
